Gay and lesbian nightlife

A photo of a drag queen dressed in pink in Brighton.

Brighton is famed for its nightlife and the gay, lesbian and straight communities can be found seamlessly mixing right across the city.

But if its exclusively gay you’re after Brighton offers some of the best gay and lesbian club nights in the country. From hard house to camp classics, you’ll find something to get you going every night of the week.

Most of the gay and lesbian venues are located in the city's ‘Gay Quarter’ in Brighton’s Kemp Town – a compact strip of pubs and clubs just moments from the seafront.

From the big clubs like Religion at Charles Street Bar and Revenge and the infamous and rather fabulous Wild Fruit to smaller lesbian specific nights, there's a great choice throughout the year.
