About
Homeward Bound is a truly immersive and hearty experience. Guided by wild shantyman Zack Mckraken, we will have you and your crew primal wailin’ and bawlin’ the great traditional sea shanties sung by sailors across the oceans dating back to the golden age of sail.
We offer sessions for groups of between 6 to 60 salty souls. Whether you have a location of your own, or you choose one of our favourite venues; be it the traditional fishing quarter museum, or perhaps the historical, cavernous tunnels of The Old Ship Hotel, or even a chartered ship out at sea (weather permitting!). Sea-faring garb and old style portraits included.
Worried about musical ability? Sailors weren’t recruited for their voices ya bozy… it’s yer spirit I’m after me bouys!
Sea shanties are easy to pick up! With song scrolls in hand, a swig of grog for the courage, with great heart and gusto, we will belt out some of the most popular songs of the sea shanty tradition.
